Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will be as follows, but not limited to: Working closely with the Schedule and Analytical team to determine crew movements and training requirements Prepare and plan roster pre-assignments including, but not limited to, leave, non-operational duties and other requests Develop and roster training footprints for new crew members Recover crew members loss of training during a published roster period Liaise with internal Stakeholders on requirements for the roster period (e.g. discuss impacts of requests) Optimize rosters to ensure a balance of roster request satisfaction, fairness, productivity targets, cost control, fatigue management and operational robustness Maintain crew records within the Crew Management System Coordination of crew pairings within the Crew Management System Creation of standby duties to align against the flight schedule Construction of crew rosters taking into account all regulatory, company and FRMS requirements Publication of crew rosters within the assigned deadlines Managing crew member’s annual leave Process all ad-hoc leave requests with the view of maintaining adequate resource levels across the network Assign left over leave based on leave preferences Perform all tasks within the boundaries outlined in the departmental checklists and procedures Booking of crew accommodation and deadhead travel for each roster period, in accordance with crew travel policies Assist crew training planners where required Administrative functions and other duties as required Experience and knowledge: High level of competency with PC/Software packages including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel). To do this, you need to load fully stocked aircraft trolleys onto our hi-lift trucks and drive a short distance to the aircraft. Technical Manager The Technical Manager, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, is responsible for the overall management and coordination of CAE resources (maintenance and support personnel), budget and operational maintenance requirements of the training devices under their control. The Technical Manager is responsible to ensure the successful delivery of all maintenance services and user training outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints. The Technical Manager achieves desired profit contribution targets by monitoring and reporting on maintenance performance and costs in accordance with approved operating budgets, controlling the resources under their jurisdiction and taking corrective action where necessary. The Technical Manager is the point-of-contact for the end user and customer on site for day to day operational needs. The Technical Manager is responsible to the KPI achievement, Customer Satisfaction, Team engagement and development, Regulatory Compliance, Environment, Health and Safety and Overall support for the Training Center operations. Maintenance Technical Manager We are opening a new training centre in Sydney in 2024, as a part of this we are looking for an experienced manager to take on the position of Maintenance Technical Manager. This is a broad role with responsibility for the overall operations of the training centre - focusing on budgets, KPIs, Customer Satisfaction, Team engagement, H&S, and overall support for the operations.
