As an Exercise Physiologist, you will report directly to the Centre Leader and be responsible for providing day to day coordination and delivery of the Exercise Medicine Service. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to people with a prescribed exercise programme as part of their cancer treatment. On offer is a casual position, working various hours and shifts as required. More specifically, you will: Deliver individualised exercise programs to GenesisCare patients, assisting them to engage in exercise during treatment and beyond. Demonstrate an empathetic understanding regarding the benefits of and potential barriers to exercise during and after cancer treatment. Provide follow-up information to patients interested in exercise in a timely manner, answering questions and alleviating concerns where appropriate. Design and execute individual exercise prescriptions and transition plans for patients based on their medical history and other relevant personal characteristics. Maintain detailed records and provide timely communications to all relevant clinicians. Oversee the physical space of the exercise clinic. We're looking for someone who has: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology with ESSA Accreditation CPR & Current First Aid Previous exercise oncology experience (desirable) Demonstrated knowledge and ability to develop appropriate exercise programs for people with a wide range of physical capabilities. Genuine passion for the patients and the responsibilities of the role. Ability to work independently and unsupervised. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Previous experience communicating and reporting to other health and medical professionals (desirable). Demonstrated understanding of principles of behaviour change and ability to utilise those principles to appropriately guide people to engage in exercise (desirable). As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you are responsible for working closely with the Principal Investigators, Co-investigators and the GenesisCare Research Team to conduct clinical research activities through the coordination and delivery of both direct and indirect care and associated data collection for clinical trials. On offer is a permanent full-time position, working Monday-Friday. Please note training for this role will be for one month and during this time you will be based at GenesisCare North Shore Health Hub located in St Leonards. Once training completed this role will work between Kingswood and Campbelltown. More specifically, you will: Work as a CRC - responsible for timely start up and smooth running, documentation, monitoring of allocated trials onsite with support from Research Leads, the start-up team and your clinical lead. Work with the team lead and local research team to ensure all recruitment targets and timelines are met Build relationships with key stakeholders including your team, research leads, PI, Centre staff and sponsors Work with the patients and attend all trial assessments and treatments within own competency Prepare for and host monitoring and close out visits Maintain up-to-date knowledge in regulatory, administrative and clinical frameworks and current clinical issues and practice as they pertain to research. Ensure all research is conducted in accordance with GenesisCare SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines, study specific protocols and all applicable national and international laws and regulations. Complete all mandatory and trial specific training as required. We're interested in hearing from people who: Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in nursing, science or Phase 1 research, Oncology or nuclear medicine with an equivalent undergraduate degree. Show strong computer literacy with knowledge of clinical trials software and MS Office suite. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an effective, pro-active and co-operative manner. Express high level of initiative and flexibility and the ability to meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities. Have knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and applicable national and international laws and regulations. Are flexible in working times and locations.
