In this highly visible role, you will oversee engineering and site projects through allocation of internal and external stakeholders as required and ensuring the quality of work. This position is responsible for overseeing the design improvement, construction, operation, and maintenance planning of equipment used in production and related areas as well as attending any breakdowns of machinery and treating them with matters of urgency. Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including flow diagrams, operating procedures, and technical reports. Identify, plan, and implement key projects to expand process and product capabilities, improve quality, reduce waste, and increase productivity, utilisation & efficiency that will result in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction. Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles and process design. Using Continuous Improvement methodologies and a close liaison with operations, lead group to deliver measurable rate and yield improvements within your area. Troubleshooting technical processing issues when operator experience is exhausted. Work with contract maintenance personal in rectification and solutions to daily production machine variances. Key member in daily integration and performance review meetings. Supporting & Updating the team on technical know how for previous 24hr performance.
