The Loan Processing Coordinator will collaborate and work as a team with the branch location to meet the needs of the customer. Join us in playing a special role in the future of aged care. About the role The Injury Management Specialist supports our people and leaders in managing injuries and workers compensation claims. The role supports the National Health and Injury Manager to drive sustainable health and safety culture and performance across Estia Health. It ensures that employees are proactively supported in their injury recovery and claims are managed in accordance with legislative requirements. The Injury Management Specialist’s key responsibilities include: Apply specialist knowledge and expertise to: Provide early intervention support and management to injured employees, through completion of care calls, referrals to early intervention programs and preparation of recover at work plans. Undertake role of RTW Co-oridinator and manage a portfolio of injury cases including consultation and collaboration with injured workers, treating practitioners and leaders to support injury recovery and recover at work planning. Including travel to worksites and case conferences to attend in person. Manage submission of workers compensation claims across New South Wales and Queensland, including; preparation of necessary documentation including but not limited to incident investigation, witness statements, role statements calculation of PIAWE/AWE Manage workers compensation weekly payment process in scheme states in accordance with legislation and enterprise agreements and provide oversight and support to third party administrator in self-insurance. Including reconciliation and audit of weekly and claims payment. Maintain injury and claims data including, financial, medical certificates and claims documentation from insurer. Support the management of legal claims and disputes. Undertake completion of monthly claims and injury reporting. Support continuous improvement in HSW, including: Support and provide expert guidance to senior leaders and managers on management of workplace injuries and workers compensation claims in accordance with legislative requirements Participate in internal and external claims reviews to support development of strategic and commercially sound plans Proactive management of Workers Compensation claims to facilitate sustainable recovery and return to work; Collaborate with Health and Safety Business Partner to develop and implement evidence-based injury prevention programs; Foster and maintain relationships: Manage and establish positive relationships with Estia Health’s Workers Compensation Agent’s, self-insurance third party administrators, rehabilitation consultants and other relevant key stakeholder to ensure effective management of workplace injuries. Support the broader HSW team by: Assisting in developing and managing the Company WHS System and processes; Providing regular updates on HSW performance across area of responsibility. Actively develop themselves and support their team members in the People and Culture team by: Participating in internal People and Culture activities; Taking responsibility for their own professional development; Role model Estia Health's Principles and Values. The traits that will help you succeed are: Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualifications in WHS or Allied Health (or related) or equivalent prior experience Minimum 4 years experience in an WHS and Injury Management/Rehabilitation role in NSW/QLD with a proven track record in delivering effective workplace injury performance results. (exposure to a large and geographically dispersed organisation is preferable) Demonstrated customer focused mindset and approach to problem solving. Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) Demonstrated ability to engage with external and internal stakeholders. High level planning, time management and prioritising skills Ability to create positive working relationships and influence across a broad range of stakeholders Demonstrated capability in interpreting and applying relevant WHS and workers compensation legislation Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated capability in coaching leaders and frontline workers to build knowledge and understanding of relevant health, safety and wellbeing requirements Ability to travel as operationally required and for team development Demonstrated experience in self-insurance environment. The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support the overall supervision of the Finance Department, ensuring that all adopted policies and procedures are complied with in accordance with Shangri-La standards. To ensure the smooth and effective execution of daily work routines, leading to a well-organised month-end closing process and the timely preparation of precise financial statements and reports. Implement a continuous system of internal checks and audits to detect and rectify any irregularities or weaknesses in systems and procedures. Ensure the precise and punctual generation of periodic financial and management statements and schedules. Ensures the maintenance of up-to-date General, Nominal and other ledgers and financial accounting records. Assists the Financial Controller in coordinating and overseeing various account sections including income audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general cashier and other related areas. Checks the General Cashiers daily summary report to ensure all monies are received and banked as per Shangri-la policy. Managing and reconciling payroll records which encompass group tax, payroll tax, superannuation, and other deductions including the preparation of cheque requisitions. Processing of data for month end closing including payroll journals and general ledgers. Liaise with banking provider regarding wage transfers, deposits, transaction errors etc Liaise with Superannuation agents and workers compensation insurers on all payroll matters. Supports the analysis and processing of hotel payroll and related payroll functions. Offer guidance and aid to foster a conducive work environment within the Finance department. About you: Must have thorough knowledge in Accounting Control and Financial Management process Extensive knowledge in Accounting System, Property Management System, Point of Sales, Microsoft required. Bachelors degree of business or accounting preferred. Friendly, driven, detail-oriented, and effectively communicate in spoken and written English to all internal and external guests, staff and management needed. Excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to draft effective business reports. Tertiary qualifications and/ or similar with demonstrated experience in WHS leadership roles.
