As a project intern, you will get the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of projects and achieve practical experience working in these types of functions: Legal content Software development Artificial intelligence Data science Customer research and insights User experience (UX) / human-computer interaction Marketing Sales Operations Human resources Finance Business strategy You will work closely with a range of experienced professionals from across the business, learning on the job while you contribute to the delivery of your projects. The internship will be for 2 days per week for 13 weeks, commencing in late August 2024, working 1 day per week in our Chatswood office. Well-developed casework and advocacy experience in generalist areas of law including tenancy, child protection, family violence, or family law. Family and civil law experience highly regarded. Experience in a community legal practice setting and/or community-based organisation in remote and rural Australia. Highly developed written and interpersonal communication skills, and ability to apply these skills and concepts with a diverse range of people, groups, and organisations, reflecting on lawyering practice.
