It saves time, minimises documentation and reduces preventable medications incidents. The Opportunity Ready to make an immediate impact? Reporting to the Head of MPS, the Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the Quality Management System to ensure TGA and GMP regulatory requirements are met. Key Responsibilities include: Ensure company policies and procedures comply with Quality Assurance standards, TGA and State Department of Health regulations, GMP and GWP (Good Wholesaling Practice) standards. Ensure finished product is released for supply by authorised and competent personnel in compliance with documented procedures. Manage Change Controls and Risk Assessments relating to all MPS DMFs Drive the MPS continuous improvement culture, working with key stakeholders to identify priority areas of training arising from changes to equipment or processes or from deviation. Review and evaluate complaint files, non-conformance reports, medication incident reports and production records to suggest process improvements and ensure the Quality Management System meets the business needs. Manager of Quality and Reliability » Brisbane, Brisbane Region - Our Mission to be Bold and Impactful How you Contribute The Manager of Quality and Reliability is responsible for leading and managing the organisation's quality assurance and reliability functions to deliver quality outcomes for customers. Here's what we need Quality Management: Work with senior management to evolve and deliver Emesent's quality and reliability strategy. Update, and maintain the company's quality management system (QMS) in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee the creation and revision of quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and forms. Conduct regular audits of internal processes and external suppliers to ensure compliance with QMS. Reliability Engineering: Contribute to the oversight and development of reliability testing protocols and procedures to ensure product durability and performance. Analyse failure data and test results to identify trends and root causes of reliability issues. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to incorporate reliability into product development. Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency. Use Six Sigma, Lean, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies to drive improvements. Track and report on quality metrics and KPIs to senior management. Supplier Quality Management: Work with the Manufacturing Group to develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to meet quality standards. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate and improve supplier performance. Work with suppliers to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans. Customer Satisfaction: Work with the CS team to promptly and effectively identify and respond to quality issues promptly and effectively. Oversee Quality Control processes to ensure that products shipped meet customer expectations. Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence. Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and feedback to identify areas for improvement. Team Leadership and Development: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of quality testing and quality control team members. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and create development plans for team members. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.). Keep abreast of new regulations and standards and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance. Liaise with regulatory bodies and third-party auditors as required. Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to product quality and reliability. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Work Environment: This role typically operates in an office environment but requires frequent interaction with manufacturing sites and suppliers. Occasional travel may be required to visit suppliers, customers, or other company locations. How you'll succeed Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field . Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean). Proven experience with reliability engineering principles and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Both projects will be carried out in the live environment of the airport. The role accountabilities include: Implement, monitor and maintain the CPB Project Management System, verifying the installed systems function and perform as specified in the Design to achieve optimum system performance Facilitate the final acceptance of the Project at the earliest possible date. CPB Contractors has been selected to deliver two projects at the Melbourne Airport - the Screening and Baggage Upgrade at QANTAS Terminal 1 and the Melbourne Airport Forecourt. The T1 project has multiple workstreams that will need to be upgraded as part of this project including the customer and staff screening locations, self-service baggage drop, baggage handling screening machines, access control upgrades and CCTV upgrades. The Forecourt project is designed to improve access to the airport and includes the construction of a 550 m bridge across 18 spans. The bridge will separate public and commercial vehicle traffic, providing a smoother connection between the Tullamarine Freeway to all airport terminals. It will also make pedestrian traffic safer. Both projects will be carried out in the live environment of the airport. The role accountabilities include: Implement, monitor and maintain the CPB Project Management System, verifying the installed systems function and perform as specified in the Design to achieve optimum system performance Facilitate the final acceptance of the Project at the earliest possible date. Facilitate the transfer of the Project to the Owner’s Maintenance Staff. Check that the comfort systems meet the requirements of the Occupants. Document that equipment is installed, started and operated as per manufacturer’s recommendations. Lead & Direct the performance of the team to meet objectives (safety, quality, cost, delivery). Partners with the manufacturing counterpart to provide leadership & oversight of the entire process. You will ensure compliance to Goodyear quality standards, GQMTS & customer specifications. Develop, implement, enforce & audit work procedures which ensure quality products at an economical cost. Leader of process area for product quality that meets or exceeds customer requirements. You will enforce Quality, legal compliance, technical standards of the product process & material for the Business Center process area. Responsible for organizational development planning of direct reports. Training staff on quality procedures and standards. Job Requirements: Bachelors degree (STEM) with 5 or more years experience; Non-STEM degree with 7 or more years of experience Strong background in quality assurance practices , methodologies and tools , experience with implementing and managing QMS Demonstrated ability to lead a team of quality assurance proffessionals effectively Demonstrated commitment to continous improvement and driving quality initiatives with in the organization Familiarity with the specific industry standards , regulation and best practices relevant to tire manufacturing Energize the team and maintain a positive attitude with peers.
