This team are responsible for the creation, deployment, management and support of all hardware, infrastructure, networks and systems used by thousands throughout the organisation across its many geographical dispersed sites. These include (but are not limited to) AV equipment, virtual machines, IoT devices, mobile equipment, desktop hardware, Wi-Fi infrastructure and laptops (among others). Within this team you will have a focus on supporting the technologies in use and ensuring their continual 24/7 operation. This can include Level 1, 2 and 3 technical support alongside project focused work. Examples of these projects can be Cisco network hardware refreshes, upgrading purpose built on prem data centres, virtualisation maintenance (VMware/vCenter), Windows Server deployments and resolving Windows 10 tickets to name a few. This organisation teats everyone with equal respect regardless of if this individual is working in the service desk team, project team or any of the non-technical departments and encourages collaboration to get the job done.
