About The Surgery Centre and Austin Operating Suite: The Surgery Centre (TSC) on the Repatriation Campus, provides a unique service by separating short-stay and day case elective surgery from emergency surgery, which is performed predominantly at the Austin campus. TSC is operational over 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. A ustin Operating Suite (AOS) on the Austin Campus, provides a broad range of elective and emergency surgeries including liver transplant and cardiothoracic surgery. AOS is operational over 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. About the role: As the Administration Team Leader you will lead a team of administrators in our Theatre Support team, and will periodically rotate across our Austin and Repat campuses. A regular day will see you: Assist the Administration Manager with the organisation and management of administration staff, including rostering requirements, provision and planning of any required leave and planning of job rotation Provide daily operational administrative support, and supervision of each site Liaise with the Administration Manager on any changes to work practices, staffing issues, leave requirements and departmental needs To be successful in this role you’ll be able to demonstrate: Previous leadership experience in a similar role Ability to positively support administrative staff with both technical and leadership skills to achieve best practice in customer service delivery The ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive framework An ability to work autonomously as a leader and member of an effective team Excellent computer skills including MS Office 365 Ability to problem solve in a variety of complex situations The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment A commitment to our patients Benefits: Working at Austin Health means enjoying a strong sense of purpose, engaging in meaningful work every day.?
