You will be working for a very friendly and supportive non for profit organisation who are in a phase of expansion. They offer full training and also hybrid working so you can work from home 2 days per week. The Role This role will be hired initially on a 6 month contracting basis initially commencing in March 2024. Ideally we are looking for someone who can start fairly quickly (within 2 weeks of offer). With positive change and growth happening across the organisation at the moment, there is a very strong possibility that the role will become permanent as early as the end of the current financial year. As a result, we are seeking applications from those with long term working rights in Australia. You'll be responsible for maintaining a complex corporate 3 way financial model, as well as additional underlying models, in order to improve accessibility, integration and efficiency. You'll also be responsible for cash management, FOREX, compliance, treasury policy, board reporting, systems and process improvement. And you'll have involvement in contributing to strategy, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. You are a highly analytical, degree qualified candidate, with strong academic results and an appetite for further study (CFA, CA etc). You'll have some existing financial modelling capability, with prior experience building and working with complex models. You'll ideally have between 2 and 5 years post-grad experience working in a consulting or corporate capacity. A background in Big 4 (advisory, TS etc), IB, corporate treasury, corp dev and/or financial services experience are highly preferred. Whilst excellent communication skills are essential.
