About the role This role is a key member of the Integration Team and is responsible for understanding the business and technology needs to define the technical artefacts necessary to support IT solution delivery in the most effective manner for the Integration Services team. The purpose of the Integration Team is to implement an composable enterprise architecture and data exchange capabilities in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) methodology to facilitate the seamless exchange of data and services between different HCF systems / capabilities. Responsibilities The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following: Provides expert input and guidance into the planning and design phase of projects to ensure deliverables are consistent with HCF’s architecture (at an Application, Information and Infrastructure level) Manages relationships with the business to address concerns and understand the business need around requirements for new integration solutions and communicates the impact of technical changes and decisions on business outcomes Create a good understanding of the business needs and strategies, including technical requirements, functional specifications, application/process workflows, integration mapping and technical interface specifications in order to support the development of high quality technical business analysis artefacts that underpin effective IT solution delivery in the Integration Services team Determines development approach options and recommends the most effective approach Designs and codes quality programs of all levels of complexity in alignment with business requirements and solution architecture for project and maintenance activities Provides input to the programming practices and standard to ensure these are up-to-date and of a high quality standard Mentors and develops analyst programmers to support achievement of key performance indicators, ensuring further development of technical knowledge and service delivery standards About you To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline 2 years of experience in MuleSoft Development 5 years of experience in Software Development using Object Oriented Programming. Experience in Solution Design, SOA Governance, API Led connectivity. Extensive knowledge and practice in MuleSoft Layered API architecture design. Experience in Cloud and On Premise architecture with MuleSoft. Hands on experience in RAML, interface design, Anypoint Studio flow design, exception handling strategies and logging framework. Good understanding of CICD, DevOps and experience of Maven and TFS. Deep experience in business process analysis and modelling to identify business processes and strategies in order to integrate and automate the processes Good understanding of the technical process flow of data and services for internal and external facing applications is required.
