Warehouse Manager » Australia - Darrell Lea Rowville are looking for a Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the day to day operation of the warehouse, logistics and customer service and working closely with the Site Manager. This includes ensuring that customer orders are picked, dispatched and invoiced correctly and in the most cost effective manner, the warehouse is organised with efficient processes for receiving, storing and picking and customer service deal with all enquires and issues in a timely manner. KEY ACCOUNTATBILITIES & RESPONSIBILIES Ensure the full and timely dispatch of all customer orders including transport management and invoicing. Maintain and improve warehouse processes for receiving, storage, picking and sorting. Liaise with production in regards to estimated time of arrival for out of stock and new products, rationing/supply issues and production schedules. Export and Wholesale Team – Ensuring all Export, Grocery and Route orders are dispatched as per requirements. . Ensure correct freight and additional charges are costed correctly. Arrange and ensure cost effective transport for all customer orders. Measure and report on picking statistics, error rates and pallet movements. Control and manage all aspects of Inventory management Ensure clear communication between the accounts and customer service departments take place so the release of held orders, the opening and updating of new accounts, credits, proof of deliveries etc take place efficiently. Accurate and timely preparation and submission of all relevant documentation e.g. orders, credits, QA complaints, Invoices, Connotes, Chep dockets etc. Maintain and improve quality, food safety and hygiene within area of responsibility and take corrective action in response to quality, food safety and hygiene non-compliance. Identify and raise risk management and OHS issues on an on-going basis in relation to area of responsibility to ensure that risks and OHS issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 5 years experience working within a similar role. Previous managed a team of people Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate Microsoft Office and Excel Skills. Worked with Carriers to ensure 98% DFICOT Demonstrated experience using a warehouse management system. PERSON SPECIFICATION Accuracy and attention to detail. Exceptional problem solving skills. Sense of urgency, deadline driven with good organisational skills. Strong negotiations skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders. Excellent time management skills, the ability be proactive and juggle multiple projects and priorities and be able to work in an environment that is "hands on" Ability to work both independently and within a team.
