Description and Requirements Position Description: As a Technical Consultant in the Lenovo Solutions & Services Group (SSG) AI Professional Services team specializing in GenAI Solutions, you will be responsible for building GenAI solutions in our lab environment, then traveling to customer sites to deliver, install, and perform site specific configuration of these solutions. You will work closely with our GenAI Architects, who will provide you with design and assembly details and will hand-off to our GenAI Data Scientists after installation, who will guide customers in their use. This role is customer facing with 50-75% travel. In this role, you will: Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other technical staff to implement AI solutions, including delivery and installation into customer environments. Implement GenAI solutions that leverage frameworks such as NVIDIA Nemo, OpenAI, Avatar/Digital Person, and NLP technologies. Spend a portion of your time working in our lab in Morrisville, North Carolina assembling solution hardware and installing, configuring, and validating AI solution software. Work directly with customer technical teams remotely for site planning and in person for delivery and installation of GenAI solutions. Travel to customer sites to deliver GenAI solutions, including physical installation, post-install validation, and hand-off to our Data Scientists for customer use case consulting. Exposure to general use and administration of Microsoft operating systems (Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10). Exposure to Unix (Solaris) is also beneficial. Programming experience.
