You will support the Corporate Legal Team at BlueScope in relation to a range of commercial transactions, projects and other matters, including in relation to IT procurement, finance, intellectual property (IP), disputes and competition. You will liaise with various stakeholders, both within Corporate and the wider global BlueScope business. This role will report to the General Counsel, Corporate, and is based in our Melbourne CBD office You will contribute to BlueScope's strategic objectives by: Supporting the delivery of various commercial contracts and transactions, including in relation to IT procurement, finance and IP Supporting all parts of the Corporate Legal Team, including corporate/commercial, competition, disputes and IP Liaising with and supporting BlueScope functions, including Information Services, Treasury, Company Secretarial, Ethics & Compliance, Tax, HR, Accounting and Reporting, Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs Undertaking legal research tasks, and assisting in the development of policies for BlueScope You will work and develop meaningful relationships with business and functional personnel, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, both in Australia and across our global footprint. Utilising your proactiveness and influencing ability, you will work with these stakeholders to help achieve BlueScope's objectives. Qualifications We are expecting you to be a highly collaborative and influential communicator with excellent interpersonal skills who can build trust and meaningful partnerships across an organisation. You will demonstrate a forward-thinking approach, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical insights on a range of corporate matters, and concise but effective drafting skills. We are seeking someone with a law degree and at least 2 years' experience working in a corporate environment, with demonstrated experience in corporate and commercial transactions. You will have a proven track record in delivering support across a wide range of commercial matters.
