The Facilities Maintenance Superintendent provides a professional service in leading and coordinating maintenance and configuration of all assigned facility infrastructure systems and equipment, through the leadership and supervision of an allocated crew of technical tradespeople. This includes responsibility for planning, organization, coordination, scheduling, training, mentoring, and resource and performance management relevant to their team's day-to-day operation of the facility. Within this team, the Facilities Maintenance Superintendent must foster a culture of continuous improvement, supporting the implementation of safety initiatives and technical advances. Accountable for the efficient functioning of his or her team, including the timely identification and completion of operational and maintenance work tasks and ensuring high levels of service are maintained. This role also ensures that the facility operational configuration is controlled in a manner that maximizes productivity and equipment reliability. Purpose of the Role The Surface Operations Superintendent is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the day-to-day operations at the Brucejack Mine.
