This will include assisting in the planning, build and testing of SQL databases in both on-prem and cloud environments. The Postdoctoral Fellow will undertake research within a five-year Laureate Fellow project funded by the Australian Research Council and UNSW Sydney. The project seeks to advance the analysis of dynamical systems through the development of novel techniques in functional analysis, operator theory, ergodic theory, and/or differential geometry. Specific topics of focus include, but are not limited to, linear response, random and nonautonomous dynamical systems, spectral analysis, stability/perturbation theory, and rigorous numerics. Possible applications of the new theory include the analysis of spatiotemporal data arising from weather and climate observations/models and from models of social dynamics. Motivating aims include the discovery and analysis of hidden large-scale patterns in data/models, elucidating mechanisms underlying the emergence of these large-scale phenomena and their response to perturbations and devising reliable schemes for predicting this emergence and quantifying their response. The Laureate Fellow project will consist of three Postdoctoral Fellow positions. Two of the positions will have primarily theoretical responsibilities, and at least one position will have responsibilities that additionally include computational aspects and interactions with end-users in climate and/or social dynamics. Your key duties and responsibilities will be: All works assigned within the general capacity as expert in Design & Drafting performed, must comply with the CoP and standard good practices across the industry to ensure safe and reliable train operations, Review and develop the CAD and Survey Standards, specifications and documentations for drawing management and control; Work closely with the Track & Civil Engineers, other Internal Stakeholders, to develop, prepare and coordinate designs, technical drawings using AutoCAD or other CAD software carrying out design/drafting and accuracy checks as per the latest relevant standards in accordance with technical standards and quality procedures, drawings and plans for works duly complying with the interface requirements; Develop, review and check the Structural and Track Clearance requirements drawings and detailed cross sections in case of Manage design components and create; Specify, review and checking of drawing/drafting submissions for track & civil and other rail infra elements from the third party design consultants, internal track & civil engineering team and others; Comply with the interface requirements for developing the CAD drafts/drawings, advise and liaise with internal and external stakeholders; Assist the Track Engineering Team in the coordination and implementation of internal projects and projects of external third parties; Develop, prepare and amend rail corridor plans (as required) with georeferencing; These tasks may alter at the discretion of the Principal Track Engineer to support changing business requirements. It is an expectation that the incumbent will be responsible for undertaking any activity at the direction of the Principal Track Engineer that is within their capability in order to support the business objectives; Lead, manage and monitor the CAD requirements with the internal or external third-party design consultants to develop the and preparing the documentation and drawing set for the rail projects, ensuring that all drawings have consistent presentation and meet relevant requirements and standards. About You To be successful in this role we need you to have Diploma in Engineering or similar preferably Civil (or extensive experience in a similar role); Minimum 08 years’ experience with CAD & 3D responsibilities in an engineering & design environment, preferably with at least 02 year’s experience in leading the drafting team; Minimum 04-05 years’ rail design experience, with experience in Brownfield environment with Multiple and Passenger Rail Tracks, Metro tracks with preference given to personnel with c Infrastructure design experience; Proven CAD skills in AUTOCAD/MicroStation or equivalent CAD package; Proven ability to develop and review/check 3D models, drawings and other associated design deliverables; Any previous CAD work experience while engaged on behalf of Arc Infrastructure will be viewed favourably. GIS and Global Mapper experience including georeferencing.
