Position Summary This role is responsible to provide sales mentorship to local sales team to create and implement innovative and executable strategy around Focused Accounts and Industry to achieve the regional targets by industry segments, product portfolio, business units and market access channels. Key Responsibilities Coaches a team of Account Managers and executes a Disciplined Sales Process with account managers and distributors to ensure sufficient opportunities exist to achieve or exceed annual sales goals. Develops strategies and plans to create new opportunities through local and national marketing programs, target accounts and other activities that create demand. Supports employee development by investing time and resources for both formal and informal training and executes development plans/opportunities for the team. Participates in distributor meetings with market access sales management to set goals and objectives around account planning, account collaboration, commercial programs and product launches. Coach weekly activities with focus on moving opportunities forward. Provide guidance on sales organizational policies and procedures. Design and manage the implementation of Performance Management and Talent Development methods and processes; clarify and respond to business needs and issues; and monitor and report on outcomes, initiating remedial actions where necessary. Develop and propose annual business plans for a given area or department, ensuring alignment with strategy. Scout and standardize market research methods to identify innovative industry trends, disruptors, and new market spaces for emerging or new market opportunities. Manage a portfolio of key and strategic customer relationships either personally or through a medium to large team of account managers. Develop and execute tailored solutions and strategies for customers that ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty while also enhancing profitability.
