Project Director » Australia - We are seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team and manage a major pipeline of upcoming Social Infrastructure projects in Queensland. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in social infrastructure including health, education and government infrastructure and will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of major projects. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the delivery of multiple Social Infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to achieve project objectives. From a client-side, oversee and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, and monitor progress – working with industry partners and ensuring appropriate accountability to plans. Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure that project requirements are understood and met. Manage project risks and issues, and develop and implement mitigation strategies as required. Ensure that all projects comply with relevant health and safety regulations and standards. Requirements: Proven experience as a Project Director, with a track record of delivering successful Health Infrastructure projects over $500m. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and implement project plans, monitor progress, and manage risks and issues. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate project teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as engineering, architecture, or construction management) is highly desirable. In this role you will: Work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe, services and workplaces. Lead a team of project management resources in delivery key projects including all facets of HR, performance, reporting, coaching and mentoring. Oversee the successful delivery of complex and high-risk projects to ensure project outcomes are achieved and enterprise solutions are delivered that are responsive to customer needs. Leadership and multi-disciplinary team management - Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams (including internal resources, service delivery partners and vendors), mentoring in PM practices/processes, ensuring uplift/standard of PM discipline across the project which is consistent with DMN and QH project management framework and requirements. Stakeholder management and negotiation - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain options, challenges, performance, project deliverables and services in business terms. Governance and Methods – Proven experience in effective project management including appropriate use and knowledge of PRINCE/Agile; gated assurance, reporting and PPM tools (e.g. scheduling). Problem solving and innovation - Ability to quickly identify issues/ options/ proposed solutions to ensure project delivery; problem solving and working with a broad range of diverse stakeholders. Clinical / imaging and health expertise - Previous experience in the delivery of clinical and imaging related projects (software, hardware, integration and/or infrastructure) within a healthcare setting or environment highly valued.
