Responsibilities: Lead the end to end payroll function, for 3,500 employees across 6 entities Lead the year-end payroll tasks including; STP reporting, year end payroll reporting, international payroll requirements Conduct regular reviews and audits of the payroll system Provide leadership, mentoring and support to the payroll team Develop and conduct training sessions across the organisation Maintain up to date policies, procedures and processes Interpret and apply relevant legislation Proactively identify opportunities to automate, streamline and simplify payroll processes Leading the identification, scoping and implementation of system enhancements Work closely with Finance, HR and IT Key contact for internal and external auditors Experience/Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Payroll, Accounting or similar is desirable Experience leading a high performing Payroll Team 10 years experience in processing complex end to end payroll 10 years experience in the EOFY payroll process Experience in Aurion or PeopleSoft, desirable Excellent communication skills Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate and manage competing priorities Excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation About Us Boeing Defence Australia is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation's most important programs for the Australian Defence Force.
