The successful applicant will have responsibility for- Underwriting, structures and managing credit risk and relationships that are medium to large, and sometimes complex in nature. What we are looking for: We are looking for an credit risk professional to assist building and evolving market leading capabilities in our Credit Risk function. The Credit Risk team manages and supports a broad range of initiatives across product, credit risk and collections using a data driven approach across the entire suite of products - Personal Loans, Line of Credit , AutoPay. Responsibilities for this position include: Proactively lead insight generation and identify opportunities for improvement in metrics like roll rates, cure rates, loss and recovery rates. Champion ongoing enhancement and development of credit policies considering emerging macro-economic risks and agreed appetite/performance. Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive initiatives leading to delivery of credit performance within the agreed risk appetite scorecard for each product. Lead the charge on enhancement forecasting including liaison with third parties for timely and accurate outcomes. Supporting monthly reporting for a range of credit KPIs for internal and external stakeholders. To be successful in this role you must have the following: Experience in consumer lending with a solid understanding of unsecured credit risk policy levers. Experience in collections strategies , test and learn including understanding of operational processes, setting dashboards and metrics. Highly analytical with attention to detail - experience in loss provisioning models per AASB9 standards desirable (but not a must). Experience in data manipulation and visualization tools like SAS VA, SQL, PowerBI, etc. Hands-on experience in analytics and development/ tracking of KPI's. Knowledge of legal and regulatory framework regarding consumer credit would be an advantage. Solid written and oral communication skills - ability to articulate insights to diverse stakeholders and influence outcomes.
