Your role Our primary focus is to provide solutions for complex projects. We see you playing a key role in: Contributing to the continued growth of Nation Partners through developing and sustaining strong relationships, understanding our clients’ challenges, and delivering project successfully. Delivering targeted, pragmatic, innovative and effective solutions to help our clients solve their most difficult challenges. Contributing heritage advice to our projects, working with technical peers and within supportive, multidisciplinary teams. Specifically, your role will focus on: Heritage advisory during development and construction phase for a portfolio of active linear projects. Heritage advisory across a range of developments for public and private clients. Supporting your colleagues both within Nation Partners and within consortia to which we belong, to gain project approvals relative to heritage, including liaising with regulatory bodies. Working collaboratively with specialist design teams to identify and drive positive and sustainable outcomes at a project outset. Providing support in the preparation of Cultural Heritage Management Plans (CHMPs), Preliminary Aboriginal Heritage Tests (PAHTs), due diligence assessments, historical heritage assessments and impact statements, and other strategic heritage advice as required. Providing archaeological expertise and support in the field, as required. Providing heritage management advice and support for post approval requirements (such as, but not limited to, heritage inductions and CHMP Condition implementation). Working closely with the team across the business on a variety of other projects and look for opportunities to integrate with other service offerings such as land contamination and stakeholder engagement. Conveying complex concepts and information by researching and writing reports and presentations. Developing and managing client relationships to identify and act on business and branding opportunities. Being a trusted advisor. About you Relevant Tertiary degree in the fields of archaeology and heritage management, with the appropriate qualifications and experience to be listed on the Heritage Advisor list managed by First Peoples – State Relations. Heritage management experience (minimum 2 years), with prior experience in utility, construction, and/or local government sectors. A good understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation relating to heritage approvals. Experience in both Aboriginal and historical archaeology and heritage is highly regarded.
