Job Description At Colliers, we’re continuing to invest in our highly regarded Property Research team based in the Sydney CBD. This key role will report into the National Director of Research and be responsible for supporting all aspects of research, nationally. This role will focus on supporting the Colliers National Research team in managing key property and market data processes and analysing data to provide meaningful insights to support internal and external clients. It will also support the promotion of the Colliers profile through research report creation and marketing and PR activities. Integral to this key role is the ability to collaborate with multiple Colliers teams and key department heads and stakeholders across the business to ensure the collection of high quality data on relevant sectors and markets. Some of the Key Responsibilities include: Carry out the collection and analysis of property market indicators across sectors and markets on a quarterly basis to produce market commentary for internal and external distribution. Manage the ongoing data aggregation of comparable sales and leasing evidence, property market trends and general property information. Pro-actively engage and provide inputs into the production of thought leadership style research, as well as presentation material and PR opportunities. Contribute to the development and implementation of technology strategies that support the Research business plan. Collaborate with the National research team and experts in the business to improve research data sets and seek to innovate and analyse to implement new data initiatives. Qualifications Your relevant tertiary qualification will be supported by minimum 2 years proven experience in a research or analyst role – either from a property firm, financial institution, consulting firm, council or government. In particular you will be strong in and enjoy: Statistics/econometrics Data management and analytics experience. Intermediate with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and in particular Excel charting and pivot tables). Advanced Excel skills would be highly desirable. Creating and working with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI or similar and mapping tools. Formulating opinions and writing commentaries and summaries Excellent Communication skills both written and oral, and the ability to converse with all level of staff from senior level management to technical staff Ability to work competently to achieve key milestone dates.
