You will be involved in residential maintenance, work alongside government housing departments and assist in training and mentoring local apprentices. You will work Monday - Friday, with weekend work available at the approval of your supervisor. This is a fixed term 12-month contract with three-year terms also on offer. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be a trade qualified Carpenter. You will need to hold a construction white card, Manual Driver's Licence and have experience in domestic construction, maintenance, and repairs. You will ideally have prior experience working in a remote Indigenous community and be culturally aware. You will be working in a dry community with alcohol restrictions, and this must be respected.
