Aeromedical B350 / PC-24 Captains » Sydney, Sydney Region - Pel-Air is recruiting suitably qualified and experienced pilots to operate its fleet of King Air B350 Pro Line Fusion equipped aircraft for the NSW Ambulance fixed-wing contract based out of Mascot, Sydney. Successful candidates will also be eligible to operate the Pilatus PC-24 aircraft which will shortly be joining our fleet. Pel-Air currently operates a fleet of King Air B350 aircraft for NSW Ambulance, providing a 24/7 emergency service. As part of this rewarding and dynamic operations, pilots will operate the aircraft in a single pilot operation in close teamwork with NSW Ambulance Flight Nurses and Staff who will be responsible for the medical care and treatment of patients onboard the aircraft. Pilots will be helping to deliver life saving services including emergency patient retrieval and patient transfer services across all of NSW and into other states. All pilots will commence and finish their shifts from Sydney. In 2023, Pel-Air took delivery of 2 Pilatus PC-24 aircraft for use on the NSW Ambulance contract. The PC-24 will be the first jet aircraft the join the NSW Ambulance fleet and will provide speed and clinical benefits for patients. The aircraft is equipped with a modern Honeywell equipped cockpit and is extremely capable, able to access airstrips that would not be able to be accessed by other jet aircraft of a similar size. Positions are available for Line Captains. Pel-Air is a wholly owned subsidiary of Regional Express (Rex), Australia's largest independent regional airline. Upon completing probation, all Pel-Air staff are eligible for Rex Group Staff Travel benefits.
