Cyber Security Lead » Melbourne CBD, Melbourne - Job Posting Title: Cyber Security Lead Location: Melbourne - CBD Duration - Till June 30 th to extend. The Cyber Lead is responsible for leading the planning, analysis, delivery and implementation of Client Victoria's Cyber Uplift Program. Reporting to Director, of Enterprise Digital Strategy & Services, this role calls for a customer-focused and engaging cybersecurity practitioner with a unique ability to combine great project coordination/management and stakeholder engagement skills with hands-on delivery. Working closely with the Manager, Technology and Digital Operations and other stakeholders as required, the incumbent will be responsible for driving all elements of the program prior to each element being transitioned to the Technology and Digital Operations team for ongoing management. This position is a critical member of the Enterprise Digital Strategy & Services Branch and will help drive cyber maturity uplift for the benefit of Client Victoria and its customers. The position is initially offered until 30 June 2024, with the option to extend subject to FY24-25 budget. ACCOUNTABILITIES The position is accountable for: Leading the Disaster Recovery Test for Client'sVictoria's key business applications, and ensure ongoing practices are implemented for disaster recovery activities. Leading the implementation of the annual Penetration Test. Engaging relevant business stakeholders (both within Client Victoria and across relevant government agencies) to update Client Victoria's Incident Management procedures and help enhance incident responses (including cyber incident response). Reviewing and strengthening Client Victoria's identity and access management policies and procedures, including analysing options for enabling multi-factor authentication for Client Victoria's Retailer Portal. Working with Information Security staff to establish a cybersecurity maturity baseline for Client Victoria in accordance with the Victorian Protective Data Security Framework (VPDSF). Mandatory Demonstrable experience leading projects or programs. Extensive experience as a cyber lead/analyst (or an IT business analyst) with a demonstrated ability to 'get things done'. Demonstrable ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. Experience in leading, driving and implementing continuous improvement outcomes with clear organisational benefits. Proven ability to engage, negotiate with and manage third parties to deliver services. Proven understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (VPDSF preferred but not essential) and how those frameworks are applied to enhance cybersecurity outcomes and controls.
