Develop and implement new technology and products, and update existing software. Develop and perform routine maintenance of a portfolio of websites. Present and communicate the vision of a new website to new prospective & existing clients who need a refresh. Give customers an awesome product experience, by developing intuitive, user-friendly customer-facing UX/UI’s supported by our Graphic Design team. Collaborate with the broader team to support any client marketing goals & objectives we deliver to our clients across other organic & paid channels (eg. Paid Google Search, Paid Social, Display, YouTube, TikTok, EDMs etc) Serve as the key Web Developer expert, keep up-to-date with the latest Web Development trends, strategies, and Google best practise guidelines to ensure clients don’t receive any website penalties. What do you need? Bachelor’s degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent A high level of WordPress web development skills. Minimum 3 years of programming experience with an ability to write clean, maintainable, reusable, and scalable code. Experience working with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, front-end frameworks, as well as CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Squarespace, Drupal, Joomla, WooCommerce, Shopify) and website builders. Good communication and collaboration skills - need to understand non-technical instructions. Ability to customize the appearance of websites and create rich multimedia pages with advanced elements like animations and scroll effects. Ability to demonstrate that you can manage web development projects from beginning to end (working with our UX/UI design team and the client). Able to manage multiple website projects simultaneously to ensure that you always have something you can be working on in between design team progress & client approvals.
