This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our clients Meat Processing Division. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing training as needed. - Ensure all operational assets are in prime condition. - Offer technical support and guidance to the team. - Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to plan and execute major maintenance projects. - Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests. - Manage maintenance inventory and propose updates or replacements for outdated equipment. - Support the maintenance database management, including service schedules. - Maintain effective communication with the Meat Processing Managers and the Maintenance Manager. - Ensure compliance with company policies in incident reporting and personnel management. - Temporarily take over the Maintenance Managers duties when required. - Achieve annual goals and contribute to key business initiatives. - Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. - Undertake additional tasks as needed. Requirements - Relevant trade certifications. - Experience in maintenance within a continuous food processing environment. - Skilled in managing comprehensive maintenance programs. - Ability to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies. - Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach. - Excellent time management and ability to maintain confidentiality. - Positive influence on team conduct. - Good computer literacy.
