Joining the Journey Beyond family, you will play an integral role in supporting our business as we continue to share special places and shape lasting memories for our guests. About You Our Waiters are responsible for the general presentation of the restaurant/events space, as well as welcoming and seating guests, taking guest orders, communicating them effectively to the kitchen, memorising the menu and offering recommendations to upsell appetizers, desserts, and/or drinks. In this role, not only will you service guests for our 6 and 8-course chef's tasting menu, but also work event bookings, from weddings to corporate lunches. You need to hold a valid RSA, be eligible to work within Australia and have the flexibility and reliability to work casually across, and up to, seven days a week. Ideally, you'll have experience in a fine dining or restaurant environment, however what really matters is your ability to present in a polished manner, communicate professionally and know how to deliver personal and memorable experiences to guests. Requirements Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills Fine-dining experience advantageous Responsible Service of Alcohol (required) Sound written communication and presentation skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to work as a team player Ability to create, develop and service techniques for various customer needs Excellent food and beverage knowledge Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and provide a high level of customer service A collaborative style with the ability to work in a team environment A pre-employment medical may be required as part of this recruitment process. Our Ideal Candidate This is a widely focused role covering a variety of Server engineering outcomes in support of the Defence Strategic Communication and Coalition Interoperability outcomes. An ability to research, understand and adapt across a wide variety of server Operating Systems and Applications is vital to success. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated recent experience in Server design, hardening, delivery, and uplift, with an ability to adapt to a variety of scenarios. These technical skills will be coupled with a can do and outcome-focused attitude, to ensure Project outcomes are delivered in line with defined needs. While this is primarily Server-focused role, an understanding of IT security, networking, gateway and hypervisors, plus demonstrated ability to successfully engage with widespread technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential to success in this role.
