This is a unique entry level of opportunity suitable for a recent graduate. The ideal candidate will be able to learn quickly, work independently, and have excellent communication skills. The position will be part of the testing team currently working on the delivery of the Operations Management and Control System (OMCS) and related ITS for the West Gate Tunnel project. This role will involve: Design the test cases to ensure that software implementation is as per requirements Collaborating across development teams to ensure the design meets the technical requirements Execution of the nominated test cases Creating defects on the defect management system Working with the design and development team with a focus on defect resolution Supervise the completion of defects resolution Testing all aspects of SICE's delivery for the West Gate Tunnel Project and reporting defects Create and execute both manual and automated test cases and record their outcomes Review of technical documentation Requirements The preferred candidate will meet the following requirements: Recent graduate in a relevant field of engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics etc), Knowledge and/or experience of PLC/SCADA systems architecture will be highly desirable and looked favourably upon. Programming skills in .NET, Python or Javascript. Strong MS Office Suite skills (especially in excel & word). Experience in test management software (desirable). Ability to work entirely on-site.
